Spring’s slow stirring warms Portland. To celebrate this reawakening, Plywerk is proud to present a group show of artwork focusing on new growth, fresh colors and a fascination with nature and its seasons.

With their recent collaboration with local ink-jet printing business Pushdot Studio, Plywerk has been able to expand the types of media that are available for printing. The result has been breath taking, as the work in the show will demonstrate. Showcasing a wide range of media and style, thaw is sure to warm the hearts and minds of Portland art lovers ready for the blossoming of the new season.

Gallery Paradiso extended the You Name It Show! Please come on by for an artist reception this first Thursday Jan. 7th from 7:30-9:00 PM. You Name It? How does that work, You ask….

Help me name my paintings for the YOU NAME IT show: January 7th – January 31 2010 @ The Gallery Paradiso 417 NW 10th, Portland OR.

How to play: 1) Come to the show, choose a painting(s) 2) Add your title 3) We will add all titles to the main Gallery at www.doodlehouse.com, and physically add them to the paintings on display during the show. For all sold work the owner will choose the final painting title. For all unsold work the artist will choose the final painting title. Final titles will be announced on Feb.8th, 2010 Final title winners will receive a t-shirt with the painting image on the front and their title on the back. Fun for the whole family! Thanks for helping to name the art!
