This Sunday, Drink and Draw will be overrun by Muppet Monsters and Masquerade Madness for Heidi and Mike’s Birthday. Hope to see you there in true Muppet style. Here’s the official info:

Sunday November 15th, 2009 + very early November 16th marks the anniversary of 2 earth-shattering events…. Yeah, that’s right people… it’s Heidi and Mike’s birthdays

“Earth-Shattering?” you ask..

Why yes!!!! I don’t know if you remember these historic dates… but back in mid-November of 1980-something-or-other… all the muppet-and-masquerade-monsters of the underworld rose to the surface to celebrate the birthing of the children of the apocalypse thus causing the world to rumble in it’s wake…

And less-than 30 or so some odd years later they have been summoned again to party like it ain’t no thing once again!!!!!

So this Sunday, you are hereby invited to come to The Goodfoot and party it up…

Super prizes will go to the best dressed Muppet/Masquerade thingy!

Big hugs will go to everyone who walks through the door…

One night final solo show for local artist Tom Keating who has been featured in the local art book series – Invision – A Collection of Visual Art in Portland, Oregon is moving to Brooklyn, New York to continue his exploration of film noir characters, folk lore and historical events in his favorite setting of New York City.

For one night only… you can purchase art on sale, paintings too large to travel with Tom will be priced to sell. Beer, Food, and Music. Signed prints of older art will be for sale and Tom will be making original neocyclostyle prints at the show for cheap to fund his trip. 30 plus paintings!
