She graduated with a degree in Sculpture from Portland State University and also studied Accessory Design at the Fashion Institute of Technology in New York City. bio

Zack Baltzly……..arose from the ashes of the last fallen unicorn……….. born in a small mennonite town in Northeast Ohio……. Baltzly was raised by two loving parents who are actually still together……. traumatized by a house fire that destroyed his belongings…………. Baltzly began creating art at the age of 10………after relocating to Phoenix and immersing himself in the local art community there….. Baltzly’s unique style of mixed media began to form………. mixing painting, printmaking, silkscreen, assemblage, collage, and stencil techniques…………. 2 years ago Baltzly relocated again……this time to Portland, Or……………. where he utilizes his creative skills and works in a printing press shop………….. his love of 50′s & 60′s imagery, old junk, found objects, & recycling influence his art…….. while the act of making things is a meditative state…….. his inspiration comes from the beauty & unity in the world around him, past loves and the possibilities that life has to offer……………….
