Mike Crocker’s photography tends to explore the central theme of impermanence. One of his primary intentions with this imagery is to capture sights typically considered banal or grotesque, and present them in a manner that instead arrests and entices the eye.

In addition to his personal work, Mike has produced images used in album art for such bands as Out To Lunch (New York), Herra Terra (Boston), Porcelain Dolls, and Ghost In The Machine (Colorado). Notable exhibitions of his photos include participation in 2008′s “Taste of Things” in Molfetta, Italy, as well as group shows at Compound Gallery in January of 2010 and Backspace in April of 2011, both located in Portland, Oregon. From September through October of 2011 his pictures were featured in a one man show at the I Witness Gallery located in the Northwest Center for Photography (www.pnwcp.com)

All of his photographs were subjected to digital enhancements involving adjustments to saturation levels and contrast to achieve the optimum desired result. All of his enlargements are printed on Epson premium lustre photo paper with Epson archival ink.
