Brin Levinson

An unfinished dream is something you can become obsessed with. I create imagery that tells part of a story, like a dream or brief moment in history.

I’m a Portland Oregon based artist currently showing at art venues and events in the northwest. My current artwork is largely inspired by Portland’s early industrial architecture and strange beauty. I paint landscapes and architecture to create an altered reality that is grounded in a recognizable world. Many of my images are based on photographs. I like to work from photos and exaggerate the imagery in my paintings. I also work largely from imagination to create surreal landscapes.
