dMob dLux at Rontoms patio
Join AIGA Portland on August 15th, 2012 for a special dMob dLux at Rontoms patio. It’s the return of T-Shirt Printing Party #2. Presented by Nathan Reimer of The Make House and featuring designs from local Portland illustrators Adam Garcia (of The Pressure), Craig Wheat, and Dan Stiles. That’s right, BYOTee and some creative swagger for an evening of screen printing fun and networking. As if that isn’t enough, we’ll be raffling off, to one lucky winner, a vintage suitcase turned boombox, made with love by Case of Bass. A limited number of blank shirts will be available for purchase, as well as art prints.
Make new creative friends and never forget the dMob mantra… “Can I buy you a drink?”
What’s dMob?
dMob is a free monthly social networking event, developed by AIGA Portland.
When is dMob?
On the 2nd Wednesday of each month.
Where is dMob?
dMob is hosted by a different Portland venue every month (typically a bar, patio, or restaurant). Locations are selected by rotating between the four city quadrants, making it interesting and easily accessible to anyone.
What goes on at dMob?
When you arrive, you’ll get a sticker to wear. Venture forth, find another sticker-wearer and offer them a drink. It’s a great way to break the ice and meet new people. AIGA Portland wants to encourage discussion, business development, and help foster a more dynamic design community in Portland. Here amongst this friendly, laid-back group of design professionals, you’re bound to find inspiration, opportunity, friendship or, at the very least, some really great beer!
